When does DeVoteD DVD Charge your card?
Unfortunately it has become necessary to charge your card when the order is
placed. This is due to a large amount of orders being declined when charging and
or not paid for when bank transfer or Cheque or money order is selected.
Stock will NOT be ordered until Paid For this includes Cheques / Money orders
and Bank Transfers.
Credit Cards are Charged within 24 hrs (This excludes weekends)
DeVoteD DVD will be trialing a new system that when we charge your card on
placing the order and if your card is approved we will assign a store credit of 1% to
your account.
DeVoteD DVD apologises for any inconvenience this may cause, however to ensure we can continue to offer our lowest prices to you, this has become a
necessity due to the ongoing declination of credit cards.
How do you calculate the 1% Store Credit.
Using the below order as an example:
Sub-Total: $AU119.95
Customer Loyalty Discount: 5.0%: -$AU5.99
Tax: $AU0.00
Australian Shipping (Padded Bag): $AU1.80
(Protective Sleeve): $AU1.20
Gift Vouchers: -$AU13.00
Total: $AU103.96

The 1% Bonus Store Credit is calculated on the following calculation.
The total of the order Less the shipping charges.

You will receive a 1% credit of $1.01 towards your next order.
How do I use this Store Credit off your next order
When your card has been charged the Store Credit will be credited to your account this
will show up as a voucher balance.
You do not have to use this off your next order and you can keep accumulating
the Store Credit up for future orders.
During the checkout on the Payment page there is an option to use Voucher
Balance. Select this check box and this will be taken off your next order.
If your voucher balance exceeds your order total please select Check Bank
Transfer as a payment option. Otherwise if there is a balance to pay you can
enter in your card details above.
I paid via Bank Transfer or Cheque / Money order do I get this bonus.
No at this stage the Store Credit bonus is only for paying via Credit card only
Do I get this bonus if my card is declined.
If your order is declined an email will be sent to you notifying you of this.
You will NOT receive the bonus if your card declined.
My order has not shipped and its been more than a month.
If your order is not shipped within 30 days and you still wish to wait for this order we will send you a bonus 1%
Credit. (30 days start from either date order or release date. Which ever is
later) However you must email us with details so we can issue a credit this
additional bonus credit is not automatically sent.
What happens if I cancel the order within 14 days.
If you cancel your order within 14 days after placing the order or within 14 days after official release date a cancellation fee may Apply.
(Feel free to email us to see if the cancellation fee applies.)
A cancellation fee of $2 (or 10% which ever is greater) per title is deducted from the amount charged this is a penalty for cancelling this
order within 14 days.(DeVoteD DVD may waive this fee if the DVD is a mainstream title. (DeVoteD DVD may have already ordered your DVD specifically for you. We may not be able to retrun this to the supplier for a credit, thus getting stuck with a DVD that does not sell).
What happens if I cancel the order after 14 days
The Handling fee in example above is NOT Charged to your order.
The $13.00 Store Credit / Gift Voucher will be refunded back to your account to use on
another order.
This order received $1.01 in their account as a bonus for pre-charging this
is not removed and stays in your account.
We will refund to the card $103.96 less $1.01 as this was sent to you as a
bonus.
We will refund the credit card $102.95
Can I ask for the Vouchers to be refunded as cash.
No these are Bonus Credits and not refundable as cash.
Can I transfer this to another account.
You can not transfer these Store Credit or Gift Vouchers to another account.
